I love science, technology, new ideas, and new ventures. For the last 20 years, I have helped early stage start-up companies in Silicon Valley build products customers rave about. My career track record includes over $1.1B in successful acquisitions and IPOs. In the last 5 years, I led 2 startups to successful acquisitions for more than $100M. I am passionate about user experience, software engineering, and lean methodologies. My technology expertise ranges from hardware to software, to large-scale and high-availability internet applications, to infrastructure hosting and service providers. Recently, my technical focus has been on web application development with Ruby on Rails and Java, developing products and solutions for cloud systems management.
Currently, I am the CTO of HyperGrid, the first scale-out cloud infrastructure delivering true public cloud agility and economics into private data centers. Formerly, I was a technology strategist in the CTO Office of Dell, where I was Executive Director and CTO of Dell Cloud Marketplace. Previously, I was the CTO of Gale Technologies, acquired by Dell in November of 2012. Before joining Gale, I was the CTO and Founder of Virtiv, acquired by Gale in January of 2011.
